Integrity is the core of human interpersonal relationships. It is, unfortunately, almost totally absent from modern business practice.
The point, very slowly, is that a competitive system will watch for palms being greased. Socialist myths about business aside, a competitive system is also based on the far more realistic assumption that most businessmen are honest.
If you're one of those who just can't believe that, there isn't much I can do about it.
How much integrity have you seen from politicians lately?
Where do people get trained to think like this?
A cynic might suggest it has something to do with an education system run by the government that also is extremely hostile to the idea of free competition. Add to that a higher educational system thoroughly stocked with faculty pushing collectivist ideology.
Small wonder people come out seeing the private sector as the source of all evil and the State as infallible guardians of justice.

You're not actually listening, are you?
