Communism is counter-productive

Stasis and equality do not a thriving society make. Civilizations thrive because you have rich, poor, smart, dumb and all those who fall inbetween.

Rome was built on slave labor. So were large portions of the US and many western European nations.

Exploitation. It's a good word. It's not a word to fear. It simply means using the resources at ones disposal.

A society of equal humans simply can't be equal.

I'll prove it.

Take five people. Each live in a commune. Each work the same amount of hours in the garden for their food. Each work the same on building their shelter. However now the question of how they will afford to buy goods and materials comes into the equation. They realize they will have to produce something of value to sell to the lumber yard.

Each has an equal voice in the say of their decision. However now 3 wish to sell their produce and 2 wish to sell their labor and experience building houses.

Majority now rule. The first inequality is introduced into the commune.

This sets up dissension and some humans views are "more equal" simply because more people think like them. This dissension will lead to further dissension and the three in agreement will now shape the others future.

You see? Communism is bogus. Equality is impossible among humans.

And yes, the seeds of tyranny are set in such an environment.

Progress in the real world requires competition. People are lazy by default. They don't work endless hours to build a better mousetrap unless they can be renumerated for it. They also don't make improvements to their existing designs unless competition (a threat to their income) mandates such revisions.

For years Soviets would breakdown a car from the US and use it as the basis for one of their automobiles. It would be often a decade or two between revisions. Competition? None. Improvements? None...unless some party boss wanted a place to store his vodka onboard. Options? None. Production time? Months. Quality control? What's that?

Where did communism create progress in the USSR? Military hardware.

Why? Because they were competing with the US and the west.

Communism and competition can't coexist for long. Already we see how capitalism diminishes the entire philosophy of Mao in red China. Capitalism demands competition. China, despite their reactionary throwback laws, are really beginning to mimic the relationship Japan has with their manufacturers. Manufacturers have ever more leeway to create and compete while coughing up huge revenues to the government. Eventually the people realize the competition has made them strong and wealthy and say, "What has this government, we are paying so much, done for us?"

Emigration doesn't spare communism its fundamental flaws. It merely means that those who can afford to leave, will. In my example it would mean that those 2 could split. Of course this just reinforces the power of those 3 who remain and share the same views. They will be positioned so as to further manipulate the system to serve their own beliefs and views when any newcomers arrive.

Communism can't work in any form. It's really an oxy-moronic proposition.

Scientifically speaking all equality exists only conceptually. In math you can have two things being equal whereas in the real world everything is unique and the filled only with disparity.

Doesn't it make sense to design your society around reality rather than something that can only exist conceptually?
