I see blogs as the muck and mire of discussion
Never would I quote one or even give them credence. They are written opinions by people who may or may not know what they're talking about and many of them have an agenda to scare or sway by any tactics. If I want to be scared, I'll read the newspaper. At least most of the facts there are checked. (I said MOST. NYT screwups notwithstanding.)
