Where?
A wise commune will take advantage of the talents of its members to allow everyone work that is satisfying to the worker and valuable to the community. In a small, voluntary community, this can be done and has been done.
Show me a happy commune on any scale and I will show you a commune where no one has dug into its history or researched those who have left and why. Most small communes today are cultish in nature and have some religious or quasi-religious belief system in tow which the members must adhere to.
