Truthful answers to a dishonest test

There were no evasive answers in my response, only poorly-phrased or leading questions. Be careful what you ask for...

Asking whether someone "liked" Fahrenheit 911 is lame. Who could "like" watching again the film of those airplanes crashing into the Twin Towers? The footage of people on the streets below shocked and horrified as smoke billowed out over them? For that matter, who could "like" the sight of our President reading a children's book with a deer-caught-in-the-headlights look on his face? If you had asked for my emotional response, I'd have answered that "disturbing" is a vast understatement.

I tried to answer your questions anyway despite their poor formulation. From my answer to the first badly-phrased question you can derive meaningful answers to the other two. To recognize the film as a form of art makes moot the question of accuracy and objectivity. Is the Mona Lisa an "accurate" or "objective" protrayal of the model Leonardo painted? And since I described it in those terms, the third question--whether it's a "documentary"--is also answered.

You say you wanted honest answers, but it seems to me that the questionnaire wasn't entirely honest itself. I could see the setup in the loaded questions, and, like Michael Moore approaching his work, I gave you the truthful answers instead of the answers you were looking for.
