The problem with this theory is that Moore isn't effective.

The right would have to actually have to deal with serious issues instead they have people like Moore and Dems associating themselves with them, which provides a target rich environment.
As Instapundit said and I'm paraphrasing, the Dems had the election in the bag, but they blew it.
And Moore & company have so confuse people like Robert, that these type of people imagine the road to success is to take the party further wacko Left. Bingo. Ding, ding. Grand prize. Dems lose big time.

Moore actually played a very small role in re-electing Bush. [Mass Supreme Court played far bigger role]. Sure they bitch and complain about Moore, but at the same time they pray the fat bastard doesn't die from a heart attack.

Moore is unimportant; he has made a ton of money off dumb Dems, but he probably will evenually return to his roots and further damage the Green Party- but that actually takes hard work.
