Temperature

That CO2 and temperature track each other over thousands of years seems evident from ice core data and others. There is some regularity to the curves. As yet, I have not seen anything proving which is cause and which is effect, particularly since I can think of no natural process that would drive CO2 levels upward in a regular cycle, but I can think of many astronomical and other reasons why there might be a regular temperature cycle.

And of course, we can play "dueling scientists" all day.

Here's a sample from the other direction.

Human-caused global warming is in serious danger of becoming a scientific dogma, overriding the serious study this issue needs. We've already gone over other threads about scientists finding it hard to get published if they aren't on the right side of the issue.

The Left (there he goes again!) seizes on this issue because it provides a channel to what they've always wanted: control.

I have never, in my entire life, seen an environmentalist present a solution to an environmental problem which did not involve vastly increased control of the State over our lives.
