OK 3rd attempt at reply... my laptop has problems answers Pt 1

Do you understand -37 C average temperature and never gets above freezing.
Do you understand that Antarctic is a continent? Think big, big Island.

Yes, I DO understand that, why do you think it is relevent? Parts of it ARE melting, as ocean temperatures rise MORE will melt. The northern Ice sheets are melting at an accelerating rate and if they were to fully melt it would mean a disaster for coastal cities... The ice shelves are breaking up in antartica.

Antarctic is getting colder. Or are you disputing this?

Nope, but so what?

Ocean levels aside, there are far more serious consequences from global warming...

Your method of arguing on this issue is like pointing at a house on fire and saying "Hey, the porch is doing just fine!"

In last 100 years what is your estimate of how much global temperature has risen. And during this 100 years what period of time has temperature increased the most.

Graph from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming

as you can see the average global temperature rise is getting steeper with time...

What do you think is causing any acceleration in GW?

Cocaine? oh wait you meant global warming.....

Anthropogenic CO2 is causing this acceleration... or do you want to argue this poit wit the National acadamy of sciences AND the president?
