Setting rather than content.

I, as a straight middle-aged woman, think it's OK for teenaged boys to like to look at photos of nude women. I find it to be natural sexual curiosity. I also think that what we shall call "non-classic" poses (classic poses being those found in Manet, Michelangelo, and so forth) are OK, too.

On the other hand, I, as a youth librarian, don't think it's OK for teenaged boys to look at photos of nude women in "non-classic" poses on public internet terminals in my department in plain sight of the preschoolers who come for evening story time. That impinges on the parents' right to regulate exposure of their preschoolers to inappropriate materials. In those cases, I will approach the young man and inform him that he is outside our guidelines, that he needs to be aware of his surroundings (that is, to do this viewing when younger children are not in evidence), and that if he wishes to continue such viewing at the present time he needs to sign off and move to the main floor with the adults, where there is always a queue to use the internet.

Straight, gay, it's all the same. It has to do with sexual content, not who is doing what to whom.

If you are against public displays of affection, you need to be against all of them. Sexual behavior in public can be a form of harassment of others. If that's the way you want to go, then go there consistently, and be prepared to take the heat from the straights who like to feel each other up on the bus.
