I think what we have here is a rabid administration, backed up by idealogues that have bought into the "fear", the "we're at WAR!" and anything and everyone goes. Bush is idolized by some, as though he some type of God that is going to save us all. Whenever I see someone standing up at a podium defending him, I try and look at his feet, to see if he has brown knee-high boots on. (and knickers).
He somehow manages to grab large amounts of power by increments, and turns EVERYTHING back to his buddies in Big Business. He has managed to change the law and continues unabashed in his assault on the environment, the people and his drive to over-power every and all nations. We have spoke about impeaching him because of this or that, but nothing sticks. It's like everyone is afraid to make a move.
This latest debacle about databasing ALL our phone records is another in a long line of sorry excuses that is eating away our at our freedoms and our privacies.
I THINK someone should tell EVERYONE IN AMERICA NOT TO PAY THEIR PHONE BILL THIS MONTH. Everyone.
Then just pay it next month with the $3 "late charge". Then let's see the phone companies feel a little pain too. Maybe we could break them.
