Its a sophomoric rhetorical tactic that Tom can't seem to get away from. Its playing two sides against the middle. He gets to insult a class of people with his Patented "TB WideBrush(TM)", while hoping to garner your agreement by delivering what he obviously considers some sort of compliment.

If you want to sty here without going insane- get used to it. Brosz is about as articulate as it gets for the Right Wing Howlers here, and they all sort of follow along with whatever he says (Except SDAI, who is orginally, authentically, uniqely insane).

My advice is to not even bother with attempting discourse here. I've given up.
