I'm not going to enter the quagmire of rehashing the past with you, Davin. An objective observer might read your recounting of grievances against me and wonder if you're not simply justifying revenge. Whether or not your problem is personal with me, I won't let it damage the HabitableZone. I don't care how you justify advising a newcomer to leave. You won't do it here. You won't use the HabitableZone's facilities to undermine the HabitableZone.

I have good reasons for not commenting on your complaints about the Zone made elsewhere. I'm not going to stalk you across the Internet trying to counter everything you say about me or us. Not only is not worth the trouble, it would be an infringement on your right to speak. Those emails come into my inbox; I don't seek you out on the Net.

The place to discuss the HabitableZone is right here at the HabitableZone. You come here, you can expect me to respond. And you've known me long enough to know that I'll respond strongly to defend the HabitableZone. It's the opinion of several that I've overreacted, and perhaps so. But I make no apologies for defensive impulses. I'll do what I believe is necessary to protect the HabitableZone, and worry about your bruised feelings later. We can always discuss this privately if you want, but attack the Zone in public, and I'll defend it in public as strongly as I have to.
