So now you have the House, what are you going to do?
I didn’t see any overwhelming percentages in most of the key races. Most of those races were close and no landslides. The country is still highly polarized and split.
Will you turn this into a vendetta against Bush and go after him as I heard some suggest on TV last night? Or will you work with the Republicans to get something done?
If this turns into a two year power trip/revenge against Bush, then, IMO, you’ll loose many of the conservatives that backed you this time and helped you win and things won’t look too good for you in 2008. The country doesn’t want to see that. The country wants to see results. So if you work with the Republicans to get something done you’ll come out strong for 2008.
It’s you move. The choice is yours.
And it figures the one Democrat Senator I wanted to win, Ford, didn’t.
I was pleased to see Lieberman win. Won’t it be ironic if Lieberman ends up being the Senate Tie breaker on many issues? That should make things interesting. I can’t wait to see what happens there.
