I think McCain has an uphill battle.
He is a big part of the reason why the Republicans didn't get anything accomplished despit their previous majorities.
The republicans will probably move to the right.
They can now throw the "moderates like mcCain overboard and they really don't stand to lose anything (They already are the minority party).
If McCain thinks he is the big winner last night, then he is in for a very rude awakening. There are more than a few republican governers who are better posers than McCain.
