I am not trying to spin anything. My message is only this.
If the Democrats get something done over the next two years, they’ll keep the Middle Ground support that gave them yesterday’s victory.
If the Democrats use the next two years going after Bush, they’ll loose that Middle Ground support. And I heard a couple of Democrats, that won last night, say they want to go after the president. That is what brought this whole thing up for me. I think that is a mistake. It takes the Democrat focus off what got them elected and is in the wrong direction IMO.
It would be better for the Republicans if Democrats made Bush their focus and not get any things accomplished. The Democrats would loose that Middle Ground support in 2008.
I would rather see some positive things come out of this and some things actually get accomplished.
But hey, you guys do what you got to do.
We Republicans got our butts kicked because we ignored the Middle Ground. My advice to the Democrats is ‘don’t ignore the Middle Ground’. They got you in, and they can get you out. And right niow the Middle Ground wants to see a positive change, not a bunch of partisan bickering.
