Expect things to get ugly if Bush refuses to work with the democratic congress. This is quite possible, as he has never been a 'reach out' politician, despite rhetoric. Recall that he was banging the 'coward/traitor' drum the loudest of anyone on the right- its going to be hard for him to back down off that rhetoric.
As for 'vendetta', a significant amount of money has gone missing in Iraq, and the republicans in congress have made blatant moves to block either accountability or open discovery of why that money went missing. Now that the democrats are in power, I expect some of that inquiry to go forward and the congres to assert its role of oversight. If the right wants to scream 'VENDETTA!!!' over that- by all means do. Its the right thing to do, and far past time to do it.
