Right now my only prediction is that if the Democrats go on a witch hunt after Bush (And I saw two on TV last night that said they would start the investigations against Bush ASAP) then they will loose the Middle ground that got them elected yesterday.
I think you are right. I think after December, they’ll go for the jugular, things will get nasty, nothing will be accomplished, and they’ll have nothing to show the Middle Ground in 2008.
I would rather see partisan politics put aside and some positive things come from this, but there is too much bitterness for this to happen. And all those promises made to the American Middle Ground will not be fulfilled.
And then there are world events that always throw monkey wrenches into predictions.
Like I said, this should get interesting.
