Where to start?
I didn't think we were talking about "communicating with plants". I think what was being discussed is that plants and bacteria and even living cells RESPOND..... or are aware of ......strong human emotions and intent. There appears to be some type of awareness and/or re-action at a cellular level. This could also explain why some people have the ability to KNOW when their loved ones are in danger or have had an accident. This appears to be instantaneous, no matter how many miles separate them.
As for animals (or humans evolving) for that matter into "higher consciousnesses through natural selection".....hmmm I'd have to ask where is the proof for that? A dog is still a dog, and a human is no smarter today than he was several hundred (if not several thousand) years ago.
