Consciousness research is not static.
Thoughts change. Thoughts and emotions are measurable.
It's the repitition of results that are hard to obtain when you are working with CONSCIOUSNESS, which obviously changes not only moment to moment, but with each individual.

>"Repeatability and spontaneity do not go together".

So, stamp collecting procedures go right out the window.
