There is what Turkey wants to call 'Kurdish Terrorism' and there is also the legitimate resistance of the oppressed, and oft-slaughtered Kurdish minority in Turkey and the region. Its more often armed resistance to the iron hand of genocide dressed in the soft glove of modernity- that gets branded and sold to the rest of the world as 'Kurdish Terrorism'. There are indeed instances of excess and ruthlessness on the part of the Kurds, both in Turkey and elsewhere- but its not so simple or simple minded as 'cross border Kurdish Terrorism'.
This whole discussion is teetering on the absurdly broad brushed, ignorant of nuance, historically and culturally ignorant kind of black-and-white discussion that landed us in Iraq in the first place. We have to be better than this if we're going to get out of Iraq without leaving devastating shooting wars in our wake.
