I think that Iraq and the Kurds need each other.
Iraq is a safe haven for the Kurds. It's a place for them to live in peace. They are the most organized and wealthiest of the different groups and Iraq is open for the taking. The Kurds are also a very moderate group on the whole, and Iraq could use their moderating influence. Imagine how Iraq would be transformed (for the better) if 5-10 million Kurds were to move into Iraq from Turkey, Iran, and Syria. I think it's an idea our government should look into.
