I'm not calling you a socialist. I drew a very clear analogy and I think it stands up pretty well. Any comments on the content?

I am being accused on all quarters of being stubborn on my views, of taking "black and white" positions, and generally being uncooperative on the Great World of Consensus everyone else seems to live in.

I'm just pointing out that there are a number of things where there really isn't a "middle ground." If the U.S. socializes its medical care system, I won't even have the option of opting out, unless I'm rich enough to pay the ruinous taxes AND pay for my own care and insurance.
