Hmm, and who's the authoritarian? Seems one can't simply imagine that our government could become so repressive and the elite could become so cold to the plight of the have-nots that the edge could be crossed and what comes to your mind is not how to stop it by changing the dynamics before it happens but instead of the plans to put down the revolt with a private army.
Maybe you never thought that, if it got to pitchforks, the fault would lie with the oppressors and not the oppressed. Gee, maybe the French government should've had their own Blackwater back in their revolutionary days. I'm sure the world would be a better place these days.
If I gave the impression that I would welcome an armed revolt you need to fully understand that it would be the most abhorrent thing I could imagine. However, history shows it isn't out of the realm of possibilities for normally peaceful people to resort to unthinkable actions when the gap between rich and poor reaches astronomical values and they have lost all other power.
I put that first in the list to get attention not to signify the priority I would wish. I think long before it reaches that stage, our country is going to go into a prolonged economic depression and the social and political pressures to take care of one another are going to force the change. But for people like you and Tom to assume that citizens are going to continue to roll over and be spoonfed failed policies forever without reaching a breaking point is idiotic.
I sense your ultimate solution really is masked by your fake concern for the welfare of others and invoking Blackwater as a means to destroy desperate citizens trying to retake their country from the powerful and greedy is a light into your true soul. Your karma lost a significant chunk today.
