Read the responses. They're not even self-consistent, much less coherent, or actually responding to any points. Especially precious is a liberal lecturing us on the horror of believing outlandish or ridiculous campaign promises.
Rob, go read the 14-point list in the Eco article Robert linked to. Not the "distilled" version in the Bouie article.
See if any of those things apply to the "progressive" political movement. I won't point them out, you can spot them on your own.
