The very first place I looked, right at the top of the stack...

As soon as Saint Ronnie got elected, his fat-ass one per center pals started making out like a bandit. But the nation as a whole saw wages go stagnant.

Maybe the baby boomers didn't notice right away because they were young, just getting out of school, just starting to get their careers rolling. So they thought it was their ambition and entrepreneurial spirit under the guidance and tax breaks of the Republican Party. In 1980 my career was taking off, I was a hotshot young software engineer just starting off at a multinational oil company. Hell, I felt secure enough to get married! But the rest of the country was starting to feel the chill of a long winter coming on.

And remember, by 1980, women were starting to enter the workforce in large numbers, in order to even maintain their stagnant household income, families had to send their wives to work.

You'll have to excuse me if I do no further research. Its a pointless effort, a waste of time. You only pay attention to documentary evidence that supports your religious superstitions. That's why we don't bother any more.
