First of all, it's Laurence Rockefeller, which is good, since John D. has been dead since 1937, and this would raise a whole new set of paranormal issues. He's not the only millionaire UFO enthusiast--so is Bigelow.
Somebody with the sort of brain that connects the dots would realize that some of the things the people in your links profess to believe would render normal life impossible.
For example, once a person seriously--seriously--accepted the premise of external mind control, everything else falls to pieces.
I'm not going to go into this too much, because I really like picturing you looking out that kitchen window you showed us once, enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains and a cup of hot tea. I like picturing you going to music festivals, and having good times with friends.
Fortunately, I believe you're basically a mentally healthy person, because I think that down deep you're mostly just playing with these ideas like the rest of us are.
I do not like the idea of you crouched on a street corner, staring into space. Have fun with this stuff, Lindy, but don't ever take it too seriously.
For the record, and for the same reasons, Grant Cameron is just playing, too. That, and selling books. Same for Scott Jones and many others, who pretty much count on their target audience not connecting the dots.
