I didn't look at your link because I just was watching those results on MSNBC but what I came away with was that Obama and Edwards did come away with a huge portion of the white vote in SC. Edwards had 40% of that total and my guess is those voters would be more likely to move to Obama than Hillary had Edwards not been a choice simply because they both are candidates representing change in the system instead of more years of seasoned and entrenched political dynasties.
I sometimes wonder if Edwards and Obama aren't working together on a brilliant strategy, both willing to accept the other as the eventual candidate. In the last SC debate Edwards appeared like he was taking shots at Obama but they were really softball hits. What that did, since Hillary was in full frontal attack mode was appear that Obama was being piled on and attracting a defensive reaction among the state's black voters. In the past Edward's message instead has primarily been aimed at Hillary's problems.
I'm leaning more and more towards believing that the two camps are in collusion and that it's very likely we'll see an Obama/Edwards ticket come out of the convention or simply Edwards as AG.
