Why did NAFTA fail while the EU succeeded?
Wasn't NAFTA's purpose meant to bring wealth to Mexico, so that mexicans would want to stay at home, working?
Here, the EU helps every new member catching up with the original countries' standards of living. And it works!! Sometimes faster for some than for others.
