Not racist at all

The same line can be read without the racial undertones. I didn't even think about uit that away until I read your post.

Basically someone is doing their darnedest to divide and conquer the democratic party which was in such unison in 2006 that they picked up both houses again. Logic dictates it's either:

Obama: who feels he only has a chance if he runs as a "young man" versus an "old woman" for President.

Hillary: who feels she only has a chance if she runs as a "experienced white woman" verus am "inexperienced black man"

The Media: working for their advertisers. I.e/ pharmaceutical companies and their 3-1/2 billion dollars per year investment. Tobacco companies, beer mills & wineries, etc. ALL have a vested interest in seeing the Democratic ticket defeated in 08, namely because socialized medicine will seek revenues from these health destroyers or will seek to curb profits and fix profits on government purchased pharmaceuticals.

The Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy: Which is talented enough and connected enough to turn the DNC race into a Hillary versus Obama quagmire. Watching the Hillaryites bitterly denounce Obama "salvation seekers" and his second coming and vice-versa is now almost fun to watch since both sides are merely massively deluded. Either Hillary or Obama score the DNC ticket and the GOP will sweep in at all levels just because of the polarizing nature of the head of the DNC ticket. Sure the minorities will overwhelmingly vote handout left -so what else is new?

The Clintons relied on a 3rd party spoiler to get to victory twice as well as a HUGE appeal to moderates, Bush did the same by using Nader as a foil and pointing out Kerry and Gore were hard leftists. The head of the GOP ticket will have fertile ground with the same issue. This DNC ticket is shaping up as far left as it has ever been. It is excluding moderates and appealing solely to the seekers of handouts. 99 percent of DNC voters are waiting for some sort of free healthcare, wage increase, amnesty for illegals or similar "freebie". Many moderates will be wary. They know the government sells folks down the river and anything they provide comes with a HUGE price in freedom and taxation.

It will be a messy election season. The bottom line is the DNC will get clobbered because they have embraced the "Daily Kos" far left fanatics who want to dismantle America into a socialized state while enforcing lightbulb, thermostat and other mandates, and moderates will come flocking to any GOP ticket as a protest vote - to preserve their freedom of choice while they still can.
