In 'the real world/3D', I have few friends, but then I've always been that way. I care deeply about issues that I'm interested in as so do my friends so it's easy to discuss issues, beliefs and interests with them. Funny, we treat conversations as I treat the writings here. If we add or change something, we let each other know right away. However, most of my friends don't all share my interests in Astronomy, Current Events, etc., except on an individual basis. Again except for maybe two.

The wonderful thing about 'The Zone' is that you can share thoughts about all of those things with the same people... most of you here! We may not always agree, but you can agree with some; with those that you know have the same views and perspectives. If not, I really believe that your views may be understood by those that didn't agree. The beauty also lies in that, once you write, it is there to be read, come back to and even amend.

It's also wonderful that most have managed to stay in this place although I have to say that I miss some of those that have stopped coming by and I think back on them fondly and with every good wish. Good grief, for me, I've known most of you for a decade.

* Just as an aside, I'm glad ARELL and SDAI are here. As different as they may be, I appreciate those differences, respect them and have learned a lot from them.
