It's been years...
...since I did field geology. Now I'm a virtual geologist: I do all my work on computer now. Several times I've started and never finished "a day in the life of a field geologist." Maybe I'll dust it off and see if it is worth posting.
In the meantime, I found this pretty darn funny.
Characters come out in the dialog. Doesn't matter much to me what they are "really" like.
By the way, Arrell is very funny in real life, but it has been almost twenty years since I really knew him. He has been very funny here at the HZ, especially when he does parodies. His "I hacked the Moderator Lounge" was a riot. The caveman thread was funny too.
Just curious, do you have a mental image of me?
