So, it's in the class of an opal? Rather unusual color.
When looking at gems in the rough, I get this insignificant feeling because their beauty and value last a whole lot longer than we do. We can take them home, polish them, facet them and wear them and find value but for a blink of an eye in the life of the stone itself.
