Obama's message wasn't directed at You and me...
It was directed at the Clintons.
He's spotted that at this time and place he needs to pull this out and use it before the nomination slips away.
The ball is now in Team Clinton's court.
I can't wait to see their response...
That Obama played this now is a sign of weakness... He's going to find it all but impossible to cry "race" later after he has said..."can't we all just put the Reverend's racism behind us and get along."
He's saying "lets leave race out of politics"...
That's a great for McCain! no more crys of race baiting...And even worse to the leftists in Obama's campaign...no race baiting or else Obama looks like a complete fraud.
And when someone in his campaign is called out for using race: How does he distance themselves from that campaign staff member? Can he fire them? Why didn't he fire his pastor?
He's a great politician...I must admit... But It's gonna be fun watching the left take him back to the angry leftist message and thus undermine his position as "the great healer".
