If he's a good politician he can spin it for the positive.
Not easy, but doable...
Personally, I hope the guy self destructs along with his campaign he becomes so frustrated that he himself launches into an anti-american rant along the lines of: "9/11 was deservered because the American Government is controlled by rich SOB's who are sticking it to the poor and helping Isreal murder the enslaved Palesinians, etc...
Now that would be a Howard Dean Moment.
