I was dissapointed

I too thought Obama was one of the most honest politicians. I didn’t agree with many of his policies, but I thought he was honest none the less and gave him credit for that. But now, I just don’t believe him on this. He won’t let go of Write and makes excuses for him. The guy was like family to him and he listened to him for 20 years. Something is wrong here and I got a bad feeling about it.

He said he didn’t agree with some of Wright views, but he never said which views. No details. I want to hear him say he doesn’t believe America created AIDS to kill blacks. I want to hear him say that America did not deserve 9/11. And I want him to tell the Black community, that he has so much influence over, that they should not believe those things either. He needs to get off the fence and take a stand against hate. Obama need to say exactly which of these views he doesn’t agree with and condemn those view and those who spout them.

I did like him saying (In a Nightline interview last night) he was an American first, not an African-American, but his actions need to reflect this.

This man has a good chance at being our next president, but it concerns me he shares the some of the same view as his spiritual guide. He needs to drop Write, but he is riding the fence on this one. Why he won’t do it is anyone’s guess, but the two most logical reasons I can see is that he does share the same views as Write and/or he doesn’t want to loose the votes of those who feel as Write does. Both our bad reasons. Lets hope it is neither of those.

At this point, Hillary is looking better. If either of them is going to be president, I am hoping it is her. Two weeks ago, I was hoping it was Obama.

I don’t agree with many of his views, and as a middle class tax payer who is living on a thin paycheck, I fear he will raise my taxes, something I can’t handle right now (Which is also my main fear from Hillary). Still, I was willing to give him a chance to be a good president if he got elected. Now I am not so sure.

How I wish we had a real conservative that would cut government spending, cut taxes and shrink the government down to a manageable level. But I don’t see any. We need less government in all aspects of our life. We the people, and our local government can manage our life’s so much better than the Federal government.
