It is all about intention...and it would seem you have gotten your fill of "If you keep doing what your doing you will keep getting what you got"
*THIS* is the main reason I choose to NOT debate..it is not going to change anyones' mind...and the annoyance level can be quite effective at raising ones' blood pressure.
I know it is extremely frustrating to feel that the other person won't even 'listen' ...that is where one has to resolve that their own personal belief system is just that...their own...and take solice in knowing that it works for you.
We are older here on the Zone...we are set in our ways...debate is futile except for an appreciation of debating skills...and trying to get others to *at the very least* listen to alternate views. We all have a right to be heard...and it would be nice to think that every once in a while someone actually listens.
Aquiesce or impotence?...HUH!..I don't even think so...it is realizing that the answer is *there is no answer.*...and you have other fish to fry.
This is one reason Fox left...a poster..[not you or TB]....said something that left Fox in the mode of "Oh God...not you too?"~sigh~
