You'd be better served by keeping your analyses focussed on economic principles, where there is some limited degree of consensus and the debate is spirited but honest. Every time you pull out your collectivist voodoo conspiracy theories whatever value your arguments might have are instantly discredited.
There are only two socialist governments in the Western Hemisphere now (Cuba and Venezuela), and one has no resources to speak of. The reason other countries exploit their resources without restraint is not because they are socialist, but because their private sectors control their governments. This is exactly what we would have here if you had your way. Government by the business sector. In Latin America it's called Latifundismo. We call it fascism. Fully Socialist command economies are now in an extreme minority throughout the world, and good riddance, but I see no evidence of any economic renaissance and runaway prosperity as a result.
Yeah, I know, your stock answer is "But they are not REAL free market economies." Well that's my whole point, there are no "real free market economies", any more than there ever were "socialist worker's paradises". They are both cynical fantasies perpetrated by brutal thugs so they can get their own way. We've heard it all before: "Trust us, we know what we're doing."
"Anti-capitalist weapon", indeed. Capitalism is the only game in town these days: it's just that Ayn Rand never taught you how it was actually played in the real world. If you really want good old-time laissez-faire Capitalism, just sit back and relax, cause your're going to get it in spades.
