I'm getting a bit tired of the incorrect use of the word "conspiracy" for almost every observation about a documented behavior I make or refer to. Go look the word up.
The rest of your post is mostly confusing, although you make an admirable attempt to reengineer the concept of government-owned Latin American corporations so that somehow they can still be defined by you as an evil private business.
The article I linked made a proposition: Private corporations seem to get one hell of a lot more grief from the environmentalists than government-run corporations do.
The article showed quite a number of examples to back it up, including examples of the apparent freedom to operate of resource companies in nations that are run by their respective governments, not owned by the private sector. To strengthen the theory, she included an example of an industry that switched from public to private, and suddenly became a target where it hadn't been before.
If you have no actual response to that, just say so.
