The only legitimate medical use is to prevent marijuana withdrawal for addicts.

Some people find themselves uncomfortable doing without marijuana. And alcohol, narcotics, meth, cocaine, tobacco. It's called withdrawal, and affects addicts.

Marijuana withdrawal is somewhat like withdrawal from benzodiazepams (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, etc.). It takes between 2 and 3 weeks, isn't as obvious as some of the other drugs. An elevated blood pressure as well as anxiety and depression which isn't traumatic enough to warrant the attention of medical folks.

And it's real to the people going through it.

Watch the folks who "need" medical marijuana. They've been using it for years, usually, or have become rapidly addicted. Marijuana doesn't do anything that can't be done better with other means.

Except prevent marijuana withdrawal. Marijuana is best for that.
