Hardly. And you know it.

The legalization of drugs which impair judgment means you basically are legalizing a form of mental retardation and endangering others.

When the meth addict kills his neighbors in a meth induced rage, saying sorry just doesn't cut it. Neither does tolerance.

What's worse, is that by legalizing impaired judgment the government actually becomes responsible for the damages. Once the lawyers smarten up and realize that legalized alcohol and smoking really makes the government liable for the resultant addictions and damages to all secondary parties.

Suits for smoke damage to property and goods, wrongful death, manslaughter charges all will be able to brought against the government when they act to willfully and knowingly endanger others. The FDA should be held accountable for every bogus harmful drug they knowingly permit to market.

That will be the day when government really cleans up its act.

Everyone will be healthy, active and prosperous.

Utopia!
