He isn't. Optimistically he is about 5 back. Worst case, hes 11-13 back. And lets not even get into the electoral map.
Given presidential elections, Obama has a spread and a percentage not seen since Reagan Mondale.
Lets at least be realistic. There could always be a last minute shift, but tis looking less and less likely, and McCain isn't 'just 3 points back' from the 'king of the world'.
