A conventional election and this would be easy to call. I'm puzzled over the "undecided" vote. There is nothing about which to be "undecided", so there must be some other motivation.
I think they'll break heavily for McCain. They may be fundamental religious folks who are really saying they don't know if they'll vote for McCain but for damn sure won't vote for Obama. "Undecided" means they may not vote. It may be people with reservations about Palin, but ultimately they'd suck it up and go for McCain.
But clearly anyone who would vote for Obama's agenda has decided. I think the undecideds will make it a much, much closer election than it seems.
I'd call it Obama narrowly, wouldn't bet my last dollar on it. Wouldn't surprise me if it were a landslide for Obama. If it went for McCain I would suspect a rigged election.

What can be the mentality of the "undecided" folks? I think they'll go McCain.
