I agree, had the Republicans not made such a huge power grab over the past decade, that I would have been more than satisfied with just a return to power equity. I happen to like Washington when they're in a giant Mexican standoff.

However, this required an unprecedented smackdown of Biblical proportions, much like a 2 X 4 upside the head to ensure we don't see that type of power abuse again in our lifetime.

Your party stated publicly that their goal was a PERMANENT Republican majority and their actions showed that wasn't enough. Any liberal voice or thought also had to be silenced.

There's nothing wrong with some political ambition in this country but total control goes against every drop of blood that's been spilled creating our American dream.

We as voters had only one tool to accomplish the punishment worthy of that crime, to send the entire Republican party on a giant timeout where we hope they'll be reflecting on what bad boys they've been. You might want to add some humility to your posts as well because we can still take away all your toys as well.
