On the other hand, the coal and gas industry have been just shooting their wastes into the sky for a hundred years. Disposal cost: Zero. Damage to the environment compared to historical nuclear accidents? You figure it out.
So let's do nuclear power all-government, like the Soviets did. The beauty of the government running the industry AND the regulation of that industry is that you save a lot of time and aggravation.
