You should have been a History teacher...small digression..
I wish I knew the history of my family. All I know is that my great grandfather and his 2 brothers came over from Germany around the latter part of the 19th century and had to live in a hole in the ground until their house was built in Oklahoma.
There is also talk that we are of Jewish descent....that my grandmother's maiden name ended in an F...and they changed it in America to a *ph*...but no one wants to talk about it.
