The system is not "broken." Nothing that keeps 82 percent of people insured is "broken," and that doesn't mean that the remainder have no access to health care either. The system has problems, but any large and complex systems does. You are being told it is "broken" by people who have a huge stake in seeing the system taken over by the government.
You think corruption will vanish when the government is in charge? Nobody with an ounce of sense, or any knowledge of the history of government programs could possibly believe that. You think unscrupulous providers aren't going to try to "game" a government system? Look up Medicare fraud levels. For that matter, go do some research on the current fraud levels in the Massachusetts program.
You think there won't be paperwork? Obscure rules and procedure codes? Again, nobody with any knowledge of how government does things could possibly believe that. There are over 2,500 pages of Medicare regulations.]
Barack Obama is promising to fix our deficits by nationalizing health care. Think about that for a while.
