You're beginning to lose coherence, TB. My question about relevance really got to you, didn't it?
Point by point...
I listened to the actual audio recording. I created the transcript that I posted, after having listened to about 38 minutes of what went before. So please don't try to tell me I lack context. You lack context, if you're relying on a written transcript, and obviously you're cherry-picking.
The Tea Party Nation is an organization with about 30,000 members. They have a Web site. You seem to be a bit confused when you keep going on about the Web site tail wagging the organizational dog.
Your position is truly bizarre. Do your vaunted research. Google the phrase, in quotes for maximum specifity, '"tea party nation"'. You'll get about 3,840,000 hits for the organization specifically. The hits tell you that Fox News knows them, the Sacramento Bee knows them, Time Magazine knows them, politico.com knows them, NRO knows them...millions more know them...and you don't?
TPN held the first national convention in February, and they're setting up for the next one in Las Vegas in July. TPN just recently joined the Tea Party Federation as an anchor organization. All the other tea party organizations know them.
This is the reason I won't let this go. Lame comparisons to moveon.org are irrelevant to the present situation. You're going to ridiculous extremes to try to downplay the centrality of TPN to the tea party movement, and by extension, the tea party movement's takeover of conservatism.
Your response to the question of whether you represent the mainstream any more was a marvel of misdirection. Why drag the --Whig--Republican Party into this? They're headed for the ashbin of history. It's 1852 all over again for them. After the tea party movement has destroyed the Republican Party, what then? Where will you be?
It's fraught with irony to contemplate the possibility that you're not extreme enough for the New Right.
