No wonder we're having definition issues. Any government regulation or welfare at all seems to fall somewhere under your diffuse definition of "socialism." You've got the reverse of the problem you're accusing me of.
I'd still like to know where you'd draw the line at levels for all those things. My view is that we passed the midpoint on most of it a long time ago. The budget seems to agree.
