Okay, you're drifting around a bit with your definitions. Obviously you "contain multitudes" as far as political ideas are concerned, and I guess that's okay, but I'm having a hard time following your parameters. The words "totalitarian" and "authoritarian" would probably fit your concepts a bit better.

So there aren't any communists?

Let's just look at the Cuban you quoted above, and think about it. What does this make political parties who want to run or confiscate your business, nationalize or control as much property as possible, take as much money from the private sector as they can manage, and control the education system from top to bottom?

"Un-fascists" maybe?

Political "progressives" are basically communists. By the only parameter that means anything, i.e. they believe all the same damn things about society and how to run it as a communist does. You'd have a hard time finding any gaps between a Green Party member and a modern Democratic leader.

And of course, to run with the "no communists" theme you have to somehow pretend that Marxists, who are well-represented in this culture and our education and political system, have nothing to do with communism. Amazingly, some liberals try to do exactly that.
