It is NOT spending that is the problem, it is lack of revenue. And cutting spending is NOT going to increase revenue. Revenue is increased by full (or nearly) employment and an improved economy.
Once the economy is humming again (assuming it WILL hum again), we can ALL work on making a more efficient government and balancing the budget, items that should have already been done except that too many Senators and Congressmen (and women) were too busy gathering pork and earmarks and currying political favor and kowtowing to lobbyists to have time to consider what was actually best for this nation.
I want lobbyists banned. All lobbyists, all lobbying.
